2026 Autograph Convention Calendar

National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC)

The NSCC is the crown jewel of sports collecting events. The 2026 edition brings together hundreds of athletes, thousands of dealers, and industry leaders. Watch the NSCC website for guest announcements, which typically begin 3-4 months before the event. VIP packages and popular signings sell out quickly. Plan your trip early for the best hotel rates and signing ticket availability.

Regional Card Shows and Signings

Regional shows happen nearly every weekend across the country. While smaller than the NSCC, these events often feature signing guests and dealer tables at more accessible prices. Check local hobby shops and collector forums for schedules. Many regional shows are free or have nominal admission fees of $5-$10.

Entertainment and Pop Culture Conventions

FanExpo, Comic-Con, and similar events increasingly feature sports memorabilia sections and athlete appearances. These crossover events are great for collectors interested in both sports and entertainment autographs. Plan for larger crowds and higher prices than sport-specific events.

Convention Planning Tips

Book flights and hotels as soon as dates are announced — convention hotels sell out months in advance. Create a signing budget and stick to it. Prioritize must-have signings and buy tickets early. Bring supplies: markers, top loaders, and protective cases. Wear comfortable shoes — you'll be walking for hours. Connect with other collectors in online communities to share tips and coordinate convention plans.
